Our First Booksigning

Just making sure that I'm properly linked up in Flickr. It's not exactly right, but getting there.
This, by the way, is the girls as they were meeting Brandon Mull. A few months ago, my favorite independent bookstore owner was swearing to me that Fablehaven would be the next Harry Potter, and I patted her hand and gave her what I like to think was a gently disbelieving smile.
Then we went to his booksigning last Thursday and stood in line for two hours in order to get our hands on the first book in the series. Alas, it is a little too grim for the girls to read just yet, but I enjoyed it immensely.
